Some of our P6 pupils have been really enjoying making new friends and getting to learn and play with the pupils at Riverbrae School.
Primary 3 ICT
Primary 3 are becoming increasingly confident using the laptops each week at ICT. We can log on and off independently and can use Internet Explorer to access a range of websites. We have particularly enjoyed using abcya.com to play games which develop our keyboard skills.
P3 German
Primary 3 are really enjoying their German lessons this session. So far we have been revising our colours and our weather vocabulary. We have also been using the laptops to access websites with games to revise these topics. Here are two we have enjoyed.
www.german-games.net – this website had lots of games about colours.
www.ukgermanconnection.org – this website had a weather jigsaw, memory game and quiz.
Division, division, division
We’re learning how to divide this week. Learning our tables has made a massive difference!
Bookbug and Skoobmobile in P1
Primary 1 enjoyed a visit from the Skoobmobile and were gifted with Primary 1 Bookbug Bags! Children also enjoyed a Bookbug session signing rhymes and listening to stories! #Learning Together
Pupil Council Members
We are delighted to announce than Charly McMaster has now taken over the role of Pupil Council Member in P2. She will be working alongside Heather Currie from P2a. Thank-you to Erin Cameron who did a fantastic job throughout Primary 1.
Firework Safety
This week Primary 4 have been learning about firework safety and the history of Guy Fawkes night.
P7 Patterns
@AttainRen Primary 7 had a busy morning identifying and creating number patterns and sequences. They worked together to create their own sequence and then used concrete materials to show the rule. The class then spent time looking at other group’s patterns and tried to identify their rules…some were definitely more straightforward than others!
