P2/3 and 3 Homework 21/10/19

P2/3 and 3 Homework week beginning 21st October

Homework is due Friday 25th October

Pupils have  –

10 spelling words. Please copy out 2 times at home. P3 can also write 3 sentences with their words.  The phoneme maker is to be cut up and the letters and phoneme used to make the spelling words for the week.

A reading book

Maths homework sheet.

Primary 2/3 and 3 homework

Primary 2/3 and 3 homework – week beginning 7th October

This week homework is due on Thursday 10th October.

Pupils have:

Their own versions of ‘How many legs?’ to read with you at home. Once you have read the book please work together to calculate the number of legs included in the book. Please return the books by Thursday 10th.

10 spelling words – copy out 2 times at home. P2/3 and 3 have phoneme makers this week. Please cut up the letters and make the different words included on the sheet. If you wish to extend the learning remember there is a grid of active spelling activities at the front of the homework jotters.

Maths – a worksheet based on the story ‘How many legs?’.

Please complete and return all homework by Thursday 10th October.

Primary 2/3 were issued with the following  homework today (26.8.19.)

  •  a reading book
  • Numeracy flashcards with active learning suggestions
  • Spelling homework words to be copied 2 times at home along with a phoneme maker (to be issued on Tuesday)

Homework tasks should be completed and handed in by Friday 30.8.19.

Please remember to bring reading books to school every day to allow additional tasks in school to be completed.

P3 Health Week highlights

Here is a selection of all the activities that P3 were lucky to take part in this week.  They included Golf, Judo, Touch Rugby, Hockey, Tae Kwon Do and a  Sponsored Scoot/Cycle. We also had a special visitor who told us about how to keep healthy by drinking lots of water. Thank you to everyone for an amazing week!

P3 Inspire Winners

Our 2 lucky Primary 3 winners attended the launch of the Inspire Art Show at The Tannahill Centre today. They were delighted to see their work included in the exhibition. Well done girls! If you wish to see some amazing art work head along, the exhibition is open til 15th April.
