P3 made some fantastic and terrifying monsters as part of Maths Week. We counted how many arms, legs, eyes etc our monsters had! Then we decided to use our knowledge of adjectives to write descriptions about our Monsters! Have a look!

Our chosen Disney film for Maths Week was Monsters Inc! We have had such a fun week using our monster themed Maths activities and challenges! We focused on revision of the concepts of odd and even, numbers to 100 and  number bonds to 20. Have a look at us in action!

 

We had a ball last Friday exploring the new toys in Primary 3 at Golden Time!

 

We are so happy to be back after a fantastic summer and to welcome our new Primary 3 class! P3 is Mrs Stuart’s Class and has 25 pupils. P3A is Miss Hughes and Miss Sanderson’s class and has 24 pupils. Our gym days are Tuesday and Thursday!

Primary 3 have been learning about Red Eyed Tree Frogs that live in the Amazon Rainforest. We even made some!

 

 

Primary 3 created our own ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’ based on Henri Rousseau’s work.

 

Primary 3 worked in small groups to create these posters explaining about the layers in the rainforest.
