Spelling	Week 1 of the “ee” phoneme (in jotters). Select one of the 9 options or choose your own!   Don’t forget to tell us which option you’ve picked, especially if it’s an active one.
Reading	A.R. books are in homework folders.
Numeracy	There is a Learn Its sheet inside the jotters.   Chat about number triangles. Have you tried some 3 digit subtraction?   How about some 4 or even 5 digits?  Don’t make them too easy though!
Active:	Show off to your family – tell them all about the cities and rivers in Scotland.

Numeracy	There is a new Learn Its sheet inside the jotters.   Talk to your child about the fact families.   Try some 3 digit subtraction in your jotters.   You can make the sums up with someone at home.
Active:	Can you help prepare a healthy meal at home?

Please have a peek in your child’s homework folder.  Parents’ Night return slips are due on Thursday 14th March and we would hate for anyone to miss out on their desired appointment.

Next week Primary 4 will be learning about Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs.  As part of our homework, each child will be given the name of a Pharaoh to research.  This information will be used for a group challenge the following week.
