Primary 1a and Miss Johnston had the most amazing story time today. Inside the ladybird box was Miss Johnston’s favourite book ever!!! She was so excited! It was the best story time yet, a story time no one will ever forget! #BookWeekScot @AttainRen

Primary 1 got very excited this morning when it started to snow. We got our jackets, scarves, hats and gloves on and out we went. Unfortunately it had stopped before we got out but we did find some hailstones on the ground. What a great day for our Weather topic!

Primary 1 have been recording the weather. This week has been very wet. We have looked at the forecast for next week and it’s looking much better.

As you know Primary 1 love books! This week we have been building some furniture for our new class libraries.  Updates to follow.

Primary 1 have been dancing this week to some Barry Manilow! IMG_0534[1]

Primary 1 received their Bookbug Bags from the Skoob Mobile today! The bag includes three storybooks and some activities for you to enjoy together at home. Remember to fill in the enclosed voting postcard and return to school. The Librarians were very impressed with our knowledge of books. They said we were the best Primary 1 ever!

Primary 1 have been having fun over the past couple of weeks in our Spooky Corner! They have been reading spooky stories and searching for the sounds and words we have been learning in class.
