Todholm Nursery Class is non-denominational and caters for children aged 3-5 years. Children’s names may be placed on the waiting list any time after their second birthday but they must be at least three years of age before they are eligible for nursery education.  All children are entitled to a funded part-time nursery place from the month following their third birthday.

Application forms can be completed at the school office or accessed through the Renfrewshire Council website. Parents should bring along their child’s birth certificate and proof of residence.  Please note that only one application per child is required.

The information you provide when you apply for a nursery place will help the nursery manager and the Admissions Panel put your application in a priority list. The Admissions Panel will carefully consider the information available and decide which children have priority.  Referrals from other agencies do not automatically guarantee a priority ranking. Parents are informed by letter of the Admissions Panel’s decision regarding a place for their child.  Renfrewshire Council has agreed that there are some family and geographical circumstances which will give children priority for admission.  All nursery places are allocated in line with Renfrewshire Council’s Admissions Policy and nursery staff are happy to advise parents how this policy operates.  A leaflet detailing the Council’s policy is available from the nursery.  If you would like a copy, please ask for one.
