Children can pay <strong>\u00a31<\/strong> (<strong>\u00a32<\/strong> per family) to come in dressed in clothes from a country of their choice. Alternatively they can wear a small symbol representing the country of their choice. For example, a thistle, piece of tartan, sombrero, a small picture of a flag using face paints. There will also be competitions held on the day and they can choose which of these they would like to enter for <strong>50p<\/strong> each. The competitions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A rock, paper, scissors tournament (originated in China)<\/li>\n<li>Guess how many sweets are in the jar ( invented by a Hungarian)<\/li>\n<li>Enter a drawing competition using pencils ( first created in English)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Fundraising Group<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday 29th March, we are celebrating an international day to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
