{"id":299,"date":"2015-05-26T08:26:56","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T08:26:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/bridgeofweirprimary\/?page_id=299"},"modified":"2023-01-18T14:18:48","modified_gmt":"2023-01-18T14:18:48","slug":"health-and-wellbeing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/stpauls\/curriculum\/health-and-wellbeing\/","title":{"rendered":"Health and Wellbeing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At St Paul&#8217;s we put learning at the heart of health and well-being as it provides a foundation for all other areas of learning .<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/education.gov.scot\/parentzone\/learning-in-scotland\/curriculum-areas\/health-and-wellbeing\/\">Health and wellbeing Parentzone Scotland<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Our children tackle a wide range of subjects within health and wellbeing such as personal health and safety, drug and alcohol abuse, road safety, anti- bullying and keeping healthy.\u00a0 Community Police Officers are invited to school to help support the education of our children in this area. Ths resource also\u00a0supports the core principles of Getting it right for every child (GIRFEC, Scotland) and Every Child Matters (UK) as well as supporting the delivery of Developing Scotland Young Workforce Agenda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Paul&#8217;s Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"text_OhaOWZGIh27\" class=\"\">At<\/span><span id=\"text_BoaOWZWIh27\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\"> St Paul&#8217;s Primary<\/span><span id=\"text_oTaOWZmHh27\" class=\"\">, we aim to<\/span><span id=\"text_baaOWZ0Ih27\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\"> promote positive mental health and wellbeing for every member of our staff and children\/young people though nurturing relationships and the promotion of a positive establishment ethos<\/span><span id=\"text_CGaOWZGHh27\" class=\"\">.
