Each Primary School is encouraged to appoint at least two JRSO\u2019s from Primary 6.\u00a0This is a very important role, however, it is also a lot of fun!<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the year the JRSO are involved in lots of activities. Some of these are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining a notice board and making sure the road safety information is up to date<\/li>\n<li>Talking in an Assembly or in Class on road safety themes<\/li>\n<li>Arranging competitions<\/li>\n<li>Awarding certificates<\/li>\n<li>Using the JRSO website<\/li>\n<li>Helping to appoint next year\u2019s JRSO members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The JRSO meet once a fortnight to discuss any upcoming competitions, plan events and\/or update our notice board.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leader: Miss McCallum Junior Road Safety Officers help to promote road safety issues within the school and the local community.
