Below is a letter written by our current Parent Group Chairperson<\/span><\/h4>\n

I\u2019d like to take this opportunity to introduce the 2024\/25 St James\u2019 Primary Parent Group committee members. We are delighted to see the return of some previous members and have welcomed some new parents on board this year.<\/p>\n

Chairperson – Michelle Martinson\/Claire McLaughlin<\/p>\n

Vice Chairperson – Christina Waltham<\/p>\n

Treasurer- Marie Prior<\/p>\n

Vice Treasurer – Lee-Ann Nelson<\/p>\n

Secretary – Claire Ferguson<\/p>\n

Secretary – Sari Cabrera<\/p>\n

Social Event Organiser – Kerrie Lee Duffy<\/p>\n

Office Bearer – Shauna Luse<\/p>\n

Co-opted roles church rep \u2013 Father John Eagers<\/p>\n

Co-opted roles school rep \u2013 Natalie Fitzsimmons and deputes from the school.<\/p>\n

The parent group meet with the head teacher and teacher representative 5 times a year.<\/p>\n

As well as discussing school and local matters we are responsible for fundraising with all monies raised being used to benefit the school and your children.<\/p>\n

We would love to welcome some new parents with fresh ideas who have a little spare time to help at social events to get in touch via the school office.<\/p>\n

It is important to St James\u2019 Parent Group that all parents know that their views matter, and they feel confident and comfortable putting them forward. We work on behalf of all parents to discuss educational matters that are of importance to all. In order to facilitate this, we have created a short questionnaire that can be completed at any stage in the school year. You may remain anonymous and you are not required to give any contact details.<\/p>\n

Please note, we are unable to\u00a0get involved in individual matters relating to children or staff in the school and ask that you contact the school directly in these instances.<\/p>\n
