Leader: Miss Corr

We are a group of children who have a passion for reading and want to share this with others. We meet every second Friday to plan events such as Book Talks, share our recommendations, gather book reviews and read to others within the school. We work closely with the First Minister’s Reading Challenge team to raise attainment, provide choice within literacy and encourage enjoyment for reading. Throughout the year, we work closely with the Renfrew Library to arrange visits and promote the Summer Reading Challenge. We strive to provide a comfortable and inviting reading environment for all at St James’ Primary.
