On Friday 13th March we held our annual Mother’s Day Shop. We worked hard over the last few weeks to make some lovely items which we thought people would like to buy for their beautiful mums and grans!

Here are the items we sold.

We had lots of visitors to our Mother’s Day shop, even Miss O’Donnell’s sister!!

We raised a HUGE £121 for SCIAF

On Friday 6th March we had our sponsored event for SCIAF.

We had a great time dressing up and taking part in a dance in the gym hall.

We raised a MASSIVE £675 for SCIAF.

We still have two more events to go. Keep raising money for a great cause!

St. Fergus’ Primary Pupil Council meet once a fortnight with Miss O’Donnell.

We have 10 members who represent all the classes within the school.

Emma Lockheart (P1), Keelan Fadian (P2), Lucy Wilson (P3), James O’Donnell (P3), Heather Bisland (P4), Jason Docherty (P4/5), Robert Lockheart (P5), Mirren Thompson (P5), Kerys Mullen (P6) and Lewis Jones (P7).

At the beginning of each meeting we start with an open forum where children have the opportunity to discuss things they would like to improve within the school. We bring along any comments posted from other children in our suggestions box.

Recently we have been focusing on fundraising initiatives for SCIAF.

We have 4 major events planned:

Friday 6th March- Sponsored ‘Dress Up and Dance Day’

Friday 13th March- Mother’s Day Shop

Friday 20th March- Whacky Hair Day

Thursday 2nd April- Easter Egg Hunt

We hope to raise a good amount of money for a very special cause during Lent.
