Which month comes after December? Which month comes before October? Which month is Valentines Day in?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now can you count up to 10 in Spanish&#8230;.Can you try counting down in Spanish?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fabulous, well done. Can you tell an adult how you are feeling today in Spanish? (adult: fantastico, bien, regular or mal)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Numeracy:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Warm up\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Play number tennis with an adult from 0-30 (or as high as you can go) Adults- child begins with 0 then adults says 1, child says 2, adult says 3 etc<\/li>\n<li>Now can you play number tennis counting back down again from the number you reached?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Task: Symmetry<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Remember we learned about symmetry in school? We learned that it means two parts of a picture are identical and look exactly the same on both sides. A butterfly\u2019s wings are symmetrical, can you think of anything else which is symmetrical?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can you search around your house for some different crafts and objects that you could use to create a \u2018symmetrical\u2019 picture.<\/li>\n<li>Send a photo to Seesaw of your picture. Keep practising every day to grow your reading skills. Now choose 4 words from your word walls and \u2018<em>rainbow write them<\/em>&#8216; (note: write each letter of the word in a different colour)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As we did in class, I&#8217;d like you to write down a sentence to tell me your news.<\/li>\n<li>Remember to use:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>a\u00a0<strong>capital letter<\/strong>\u00a0at the start of the sentence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>-a\u00a0<strong>full stop<\/strong>\u00a0at the end of the sentence<\/p>\n<p>-a\u00a0<strong>finger space<\/strong>\u00a0between each word<\/p>\n<p>Challenge: Can you write more than one sentence?<\/p>\n<p>When you have finished writing your sentence you can draw a picture of your news and colour it in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outdoor scavenger hunt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/stdavids\/files\/2020\/04\/bee.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7443\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/stdavids\/files\/2020\/04\/bee.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"192\" height=\"176\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Resources: a bag to collect your findings, a camera to capture anything you can\u2019t put in the bag\u2026<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As you go on your daily walk, let\u2019s see how many of the items from the list below items you can find\u2026<\/li>\n<li>As you find the items ask the adult who is with you to talk about them: What are they?
