I have been working at St. David&#8217;s since November and it has been such a joy getting to know your children.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14393 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/public\/cochrane\/uploads\/sites\/2343\/2020\/05\/06121608\/IMG_20200328_112500-2-300x256.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"247\" height=\"211\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I work for an organization called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.place2be.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Place2Be<\/a> which is a children\u2019s mental health charity. Our mission is to enhance the wellbeing of children and their families by providing access to therapeutic and emotional support in schools. We believe in the whole school approach which means that we offer services to students, parents, and staff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.place2be.org.uk\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14400 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/public\/cochrane\/uploads\/sites\/2343\/2020\/05\/06153439\/button-for-school-website-300x101.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"101\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">-Students have access to one-on- one counselling, Place2talk, group counselling and whole class sessions aimed at promoting social and emotional skills.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14402 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/public\/cochrane\/uploads\/sites\/2343\/2020\/05\/06160417\/10.06.19_0786_FINAL-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">-One of the most critical elements that we offer for your students is a program called Place2Talk, which is a lunchtime self-referral service in which students can speak with a counsellor about any issues that they may be having.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14399 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/public\/cochrane\/uploads\/sites\/2343\/2020\/05\/06153234\/10.06.19_1483_-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"258\" height=\"172\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">-Parents have access to \u2018parent partnership\u2019 which is a service dedicated to helping parents navigate any parental challenges you may be facing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-14401 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/public\/cochrane\/uploads\/sites\/2343\/2020\/05\/06154848\/10.06.19_0977_FINAL-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">-I am in the school on a part-time basis.
