St Charles’ Early Childcare Class provides 48 funded places for children aged 3 – 5 years old and 10 funded places for children aged 2-3 years old. \u00a0Children are eligible for entry to the Early Learning Childcare Class from the month after their birthday for birthdays between September and February.\u00a0 Children with birthdays between March and August will be eligible for entry to the\u00a0 Early Learning Childcare Class in August.<\/p>\n

Placement in the Early Learning Childcare class does not guarantee a place in the primary school if a placing request is necessary.<\/p>\n All Renfrewshire Early Learning Childcare classes adhere to the council\u2019s admission policy and all applications are dealt with in line with its guidelines.\u00a0 All applications are discussed at a central admissions panel and agreement about the allocation of places is made by the members.\u00a0 Parents will receive notification when their child is allocated a place and information will accompany this about starting dates and times.
