These schools will be selected based on their significant numbers of pupils in SIMD (Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation) Index 1, 2, and 3 categories. The project will be targeted at pupils in all primary stages, meaning children from ages 4-12 will be able to participate.<\/small><\/p>\n<p><small>The project will feature a variety of musical inputs to engage the students. This will include percussion, ukulele, and vocal-based sessions. The use of percussion instruments such as drums, shakers, and tambourines can help students develop their rhythm and timing skills. The ukulele is a small and accessible instrument that is easy for young students to learn and play, allowing them to develop their musical abilities. Vocal-based sessions will help students develop their singing skills and confidence, as well as their ability to work in a group.<\/small><\/p>\n<p><small>Overall, the project&#8217;s aim is to provide musical education and opportunities to students who may not have access to such resources.
