Dear Parents and Carers,<\/p>\n

We are pleased to inform you that Riverbrae will be celebrating Burns Night with a fun Scotland-themed day on Friday 23 January.<\/p>\n

To mark the occasion, children are welcome to take part by wearing Scottish-themed clothing such as tartan, kilts, blue and white colours, ribbons or other Scotland-inspired accessories. Scotland tops are fine but no other football colours please. We will offering optional face painting with simple Scottish designs, such a small flag or flower.<\/p>\n

If you do not want your child to have their face painted, please let the class team know in Learning Journals.<\/p>\n

Participation is entirely optional, and there is no need to purchase anything special, simple colours or small accessories are more than sufficient.<\/p>\n

This celebration is a lovely opportunity for pupils to learn about the life and work of Robert Burns in an enjoyable and inclusive way.<\/p>\n
