Dear Parent/Carer
Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education are currently carrying out visits to some schools and early learning and childcare settings across Scotland. When we wrote to you after the last inspection of Riverbrae School, we said that we would engage with the school to report on progress
This letter sets out what we found during our visit. Please click on the link below for details.
Ukraine Appeal
Thank you everyone for the generous donations and support with the Ukraine appeal. We had an amazing response and this morning we took our goods to JW Grant in Paisley.
Thank you to everyone who helped with getting the donations there.

World Book Day 2022
Many thanks to everyone who took part in World Book Day, we had the most fantastic time listening and reading stories. The costumes were brilliant. Stories on learning journals will continue for the rest of this week. Every pupil will come home with a free book to keep today, these were kindly donated by Sainsburys and Waterstones and a portion were bought by Riverbrae. We hope you enjoy them.
We have some world book day vouchers left if you would like any for siblings etc. so that they can claim a free book. Many thanks

RSPB Wild Challenge Bronze Winners

Pupils in Room 408 have been learning about birds and the RSPB this term as one of our topics. One of the highlights was the Big School Birdwatch at the end of January. Taking part in this was one of the activities toward the RSPB Wild Challenge. There are six challenges to complete for each section of the award, the others have included making bird feeders, making bird boxes, making homes for mini beasts and identifying plants in the local area, all trying to improve the ecosystem and environment of our local habitat.
Now Hear Me Have Your Say

In March 2018, a new law was introduced in Scotland to provide communication equipment and support in using that equipment. This means every person in Scotland who has been assessed by a Speech and Language Therapist and identified as requiring an AAC device will be issued with the equipment and support required to use it.
