Riverbrae has a selection of clean, good quality items of school uniform on the rails and shelving in the Parents Room.

Please do come in and have a look to see if there is anything suitable and please take what you can use.

If you have clean, good quality items that you would like to donate then please leave bags behind the door for sorting, many thanks!

To thank our young people for all their hard work and resilience over the past couple of years, we are holding a Riverbrae Fun day for pupils during the school day on Friday 24^th June. Throughout their school day, pupils will get the chance to take part in many activities including playing on inflatables, music and singing, access to an animal handling experience, ice cream, sensory experiences, face painting/glitter tattoos, scavenger hunt, balloon modelling and more. We are very much looking forward to the day as a final year treat for our young people. This event is for our pupils only, photographs will be added to learning journals. You will receive a permission slip in the next few days for face painting/glitter tattoos. You only need to return the slip if you do not wish your child to have their face painted or a glitter tattoo.

Well done to Che and Jack on competing their work experience at Barnardo’s Linwood. Both boys worked extremely hard over the last 6 weeks helping to organise and set up the entertainment section in the shop.

Take a Break is now open to applications! 

Take a Break delivers one of four, short break grant programmes available in Scotland, funded by the Scottish Government and administered by us here at Family Fund, on their behalf.

Take a Break Scotland grants enable families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person, to have the opportunity to choose how they would like to take a break.

If you have already submitted your application, priority will be given to those applying for the first time, and those who did not receive any support last year. Please note that funding is limited, so there is no guarantee of support.

Applications close at 5:00pm on Monday 20 June 2022.

All applicants will receive a letter to advise them of the outcome of their application from 11 July 2022.

Riverbrae Parents Walking Group

A huge well done to one of our P5 pupils who raised an incredible £530 for the charity event ‘Walk for Autism’. He completed 80,000 steps in 8 days. Well done Riley!
