Christmas Events

4th December 2020

Dear Parent / Carer

At this time of year, we are pulling together a school newsletter and the school Christmas show.

Unfortunately, we do not have all the Media Consent forms for photographs or video.

As this is a one time event can I ask that you contact the school by the 11 December if you do not want your child to appear in any photographs or Christmas concert.

The Concert and newsletter will only be available to Riverbrae parents and carers via a link.

Many thanks for your help in this matter

Singing Hands

‘Many of our classes enjoy Singing Hands, especially at Christmas time. This year we will miss coming together for our Makaton choir, but families can access Singing Hands Zoom sessions by following this link:

Please let us know if you participate in any of these sessions, we’d love to hear your feedback.’

The Greatest Snowman

Unfortunately, due to current restrictions we are unable to put on our usual Christmas performance. However, we are working hard to ensure that a show will still go on. All pupils throughout the school are preparing to contribute towards a digital performance within their individual classes.

For our Nursery and Primary departments, the theme is ‘The Greatest Snowman’ and for costumes, could we kindly ask parents to send in warm outdoor clothes/accessories for their children, e.g. hats, gloves, scarves, thick jackets.

Recording will be taking place next week from the 23rd– 27th next week. We will of course return items on Friday the 27th.

Information for Secondary and Senior Phase Departments will follow soon.

Thank you,
