Developments of the local authority GIRFEC refresh.
On Wednesday 18th May 1pm – 2.30pm and Tuesday 6th June 10am-11.30pm I will be offering a session to our parents/carers of children/young people with additional support needs. This session will outline the developments of the local authority GIRFEC refresh and will also include a workshop session in which we will develop support materials and plan further support sessions for our parents/carers. I will confirm the venue for this nearer the time.
If you would be interested in attending or would like further information, please contact

Riverbrae Art Group
Thanks again to the Parent’s Art group, who produced some outstanding coasters today. We really have some talented people in this group.
Red Nose Day 2023
Red Nose Day falls on Friday 17th March 2023 this year. To support Red Nose Day, we are asking if pupils (and Staff) can wear something red. Please do not do go out and buy something new for your child. If they do not have a red item then they can just come in their own clothes. If you would like to donate to the cause, please send your donation in your child’s bag and it will be collected.
Many thanks
BINGO NIGHT
Thank you to everyone for their support at the bingo night. Our total amount raised was £2,000 – this will give our current leavers a fantastic send off at prom to celebrate the end of their time at Riverbrae.
Thank you for your continuous support!

World Book Day 2023
Thank you to Waterstones at Braehead and Silverburn, for kindly allowing Riverbrae to exchange our World Book Day book vouchers so that each child was able to take home a physical book this week.
News from Riverbrae ELCC
Hi Everyone,
Riverbrae ELCC are working hard to promote literacy within our setting and to support families to carry this forward at home. We are now developing a lending library which will allow our children to borrow books to take home and read with their family with the hope of developing literacy skills whilst giving the opportunity for quality time together.
We are hoping there are some of you who can help us in building our book collection. If anyone has, and is willing to donate any books you may have which would be suitable for our age group this would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
