A leaner pathway is a young person&#8217;s journey through education and learning. It is important that the curriculum provides flexible learning pathways which meet the needs of all learners.<\/p>\n<p>This is a link to the SCQF ambassador training page. On this page are video presentations from different schools and from the SCQF conference about how establishments have moved ahead with learner pathways, especially &#8216;non traditional&#8217; pathways:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/scqf.org.uk\/school-ambassador-training-area\/\">http:\/\/scqf.org.uk\/school-ambassador-training-area\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wider achievement awards can play an important role in learner pathways by supporting flexible choices for children and young people. By using the <a href=\"http:\/\/scqf.org.uk\/about-the-framework\/interactive-framework\/\">SCQF framework<\/a>, you can see how wider achievement awards can be offered alongside national qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>This power point gives examples of how 2 secondary schools are using the SCQF framework to develop flexible learner pathways:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/public\/renwiderachievement\/uploads\/sites\/2948\/2020\/06\/10074001\/Learner-Pathways-training-power-point.pptx\">Learner Pathways training power point<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In January 2020 Education Scotland engaged NoTosh, a design thinking agency, to collaboratively plan a series of creative curriculum co-design events.<br \/>\nRepresentatives from local authorities and national partners embarked on three days of curriculum design thinking with school leaders on two themes: Learner Pathways and<br \/>\nInterdisciplinary Learning.
