Rationale<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Renfrewshire Literacy Approach continues to grow and evolve and a range of professional learning is ongoing to ensure the sustainability of the approach and to meet the needs of teachers and school leaders.<\/p>\n

We will continue to focus on closing the poverty-related attainment gap while raising attainment for all.\u00a0 In addition, attainment data highlights gaps in pupil progress as a result of extended periods of remote learning.\u00a0 This is most obvious in writing.<\/p>\n

We will continue to provide a range of\u00a0 high-quality CLPL to deepen practitioners\u2019 knowledge and understanding of effective pedagogy in literacy and increase teacher confidence in the implementation of range of evidence-based approaches.<\/p>\n
