Leadership

Renfrewshire Council strives to ensure all staff are skilled in addressing the impact of poverty on outcomes for children, young people and their families. As a result of delivering a range of high-quality leadership professional learning opportunities, it has made measurable progress in supporting all staff to raise attainment across all stages whilst closing the poverty-related attainment gap. Outcomes in literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing have improved significantly for our children and young people (pre-covid). This is as a result of empowered leadership at all levels within our schools.

In order to continue to make progress, we require to deliver professional learning which builds on and enhances leadership capacity across all levels within our schools.
