Although bar-modelling falls under the umbrella of C-P-A it has a twilight session of its own. Bar modelling teaches learners to visualise problems by creating simple, intuitive diagrams that allow them to select the correct numerical strategy as well as helping them to develop their relational understanding in key concepts. Unlike other C-P-A methodologies, bar modelling requires next to no resources.
