This course will focus on effective pedagogy that seeks to build deep understanding in some of the key topics at National 5, particularly those in which a secure grounding is essential for success at Higher. We will explore algebra, the straight line, quadratics and trigonometry, looking at tasks that go beyond procedural fluency and allow learners to make strong connections between concepts.
