This course will consist of twilight sessions. It is designed to support teachers in going beyond the textbook in order to ensure children and young people encounter maths as an open, creative and collaborative subject.  We will explore various task structures with a low-floor and high-ceiling, designed to ensure all learners can be appropriately challenged and supported in their mathematical development.  The course comprises six short online modules, each complemented by a twilight session that gives practical tips and resources to help translate the theory into practice.  Although not essential, this course lends itself well to a whole-school or whole-department approach.
