SumDog Celebrations

As a reward for Primary 7 and Primary 7/6 working so hard during the SumDog Scotland Contest last week we are going to have a party tomorrow afternoon (Thursday 20th September).

The children have chosen to have a pyjama party and watch a DVD.

Your child can therefore bring in their pyjamas and any cosy clothes  but must not come to school in the morning out of uniform.

Thank you

Maths week 2018

Primary 7 are excited for maths week and have lots of fun activities planned within the classroom during the week.

However, there are also lots of ways parents/guardians can be involved in their child’s maths week experience:

1) The maths homework for the week is to show us and discuss how you used maths and numeracy in every day, real life situations. You can send photos or evidence into school or tweet us using twitter handles: @Rashieke_PS  @AttainRen  and #MWSREN

2) Pupils have been entered into the Sumdog Scottish Maths Contest which started on Friday 7th at 8am and finishes Thursday 13th at 8pm. Your child should have their username and password stuck inside their diary.

3) A maths and numeracy trail has been created for you to complete with your child before or after school.

Don’t forgot to dress up on Friday. We will all be dancing at 2.15pm to celebrate the end of maths week!!!

Welcome back to P7

Welcome back!!!

We have had a great start to Primary 7 helping our P1 buddies settle into Rashielea as well as taking on weekly prefecting roles.

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. Can you please make sure your child has a full change of clothes and shoes. Also hair must be tied back and no earrings worn.

Thank you

Mrs Whiteford
