Park Mains Transition

Good afternoon,

Your child has received a letter outlining the Transition Visit at Park Mains High School. A detailed timetable for your child will follow soon and travel arrangements will be provided once the specific date is confirmed.

Please note face masks and a packed lunch will be required for the visit.

Spelling:

This week we are looking at the spelling rule ‘for’. We have discussed the meaning of our spelling words and associated words in class. Our rule words this week are: referral, inferred, transfer, preferred, deferred and conference. Our common words are: suffix, especially, plural and cotton. Please complete the associated task on Teams, uploading either a word document or a photograph of your work.

Maths:

In class we have been looking at solving equations. This week our maths homework is digital. Please find the task details on teams.

Reading:

Please continue to read your accelerated reader at home. You should aim to complete an accelerated reading book every couple of weeks (unless discussed with your teacher).

Halloween:

On Friday the 30th of October you can wear a Halloween costume or orange and/or black to school. Please remember to still bring a suitable outdoor jacket and shoes.
