Primary 6G

Hi everyone 🙂

It was great to hear all about your weekend in class today. I hope you are all feeling relaxed after the weekend!

This weeks spelling is listed below. Please remember to do your look, say, cover, write & check. You can also create six sentences using your spelling words or challenge yourself and write a paragraph. I enjoyed reading some of the paragraphs created last week!

Rule- ify +ous

Everyone should ensure that they also have a reading book. I will be hearing individual reading in class this week 🙂

Read + Munch will start again this Thursday. Bring a healthy snack!

10 Pieces project for Primary 6 will be starting tomorrow and will continue to run every Tuesday until Easter.

Maths – This weeks maths homework is data handling. Last week we were working on line graphs, finding and retrieving data and using this to create a line graph. Your homework task this week is to produce a line graph using data of your choice.

Some examples are: the weather; temperature, rain fall, days of sun of a country of your choice, sweets in a jar or goals scored over a period of time. You can choose your own subject but please remember to create a table of the data which you collect and then create a graph, labelling it correctly. If you need any help or have any questions please ask in class before Friday. Remember to complete your graph on the squared paper provided.

Have a lovely week,

Miss Gemmell
