1.  Morrisons took a delivery of 10,346 Easter eggs. They sold 2,765 on Thursday and 4,119 on Friday. If they had 323 eggs left on Sunday, how many did they sell on Saturday?

2.  There are 8 Easter eggs in a box. If the Co-op has 1,928 eggs, how        many boxes do they have?

3.  Costcutters are selling medium sized Easter eggs for £3.49.  If                 you have £20.00, how many eggs can you buy? How much                        change will you have?

4.  Hannah has two extra large bags of chocolate mini eggs. Each bag        contains 999 mini eggs. If Hannah shares them equally between            herself and 5 friends, how many eggs do each of them receive?              Are there any left over?

5.  On Easter Sunday Carys and Jude are visiting their grandparents         in Greenock. If they leave their house at 8.15am and return                     later in the day at 6.55pm, how long will they have been away                 from home? What time did they leave and return in 24 hour                    clock?

Personal Reading Challenge: This will be the final week of our reading challenge. Personal reading should be completed as often as possible (not just during ERIC time) to allow you to achieve your target. Once you complete a book please add it to your reading passport.

Please remember to bring your book to school as this will allow you to read it during our ERIC sessions.

Listening & Talking:  Your solo presentation is due on Monday. All details can be found here. I am looking forward to hearing them.

Multiplication Trainer

H&WB: In your homework diary, please record 6 different ways, over the course of the week, that shows you are living a healthy lifestyle. Think about the H&WB lessons we are working on in class to help. This task should be completed by Friday.

1.  The Big Pedal is on this week. Please bring your bike or scooter to school each day. Please remember a helmet should be worn. When entering the school playground, all bikes/scooters should be dismounted and pushed to a suitable area. You may lock your bike/scooter up, however please remember the locks and keys are your responsibility.
2. P.E. will be on Tuesday and Friday.  Please ensure you have a full P.E. kit and long hair is tied back.
3.  We will be holding our annual House Quiz on Thursday. This will be a non-uniform day however you should wear house colours.
4. Report cards will be issued on Friday. Please return the confirmation slip after the holidays.
5.  School closes at 2.30pm on Friday.

This week I would like you to include uplevelled connectives. Please remember that we should not be using openers I, My, The, It, There or A as we are trying to uplevel our work as much as possible.  This week I would like you to make a conscious effort to continue to use up-levelled openers and connectives. Each sentence should include a spelling rule word. You should also find two further words that include the same spelling rule. This task should be returned to school by Friday.

Personal Reading Challenge: You now have 2 weeks to complete the challenge. Personal reading should be completed as often as possible (not just during ERIC time) to allow you to achieve your target. Once you complete a book please add it to your reading passport.
