This Week in P5A

This week, P5A were delighted to welcome visitors from Rolls-Royce. We learned all about their role in creating the different parts required for a jet engine and how these parts make flight possible. We took part in a design challenge where we created our own aeroplanes and tested them out to see how far they would fly down our corridor.

In science, we have been learning about the water cycle. We took part in an experiment to show us the process of evaporation, condensation and precipitation. Best of all, it all occurs inside a bag! By creating our own water cycle, we can monitor our bags at different stages of the cycle to see how the water inside the bag changes form.

In P.E we have been learning all about the role of bowler and batter in cricket. We are becoming familiar with the various skills and techniques involved and having great fun as we learn.

Have a fantastic long weekend.
