Homework
Spelling – This week our spelling sound is related to silent letters. For example in the word limb the b is a silent letter. Please complete the tasks as noted in the homework jotter. Our words for this week are:

Maths – For Maths homework this week we continue our work looking at fractions. This week we are looking at equivalent fractions.
Reading – The children will receive their new reading books on Monday 24th January. They have 2 weeks to finish this book but if they finish quicker they can change to a new book. Books are due in on Friday 4th February.
News
This week we continue our Scotland mini topic. We will be looking at the lifecycle of the brown trout and completing some Scottish artwork. We will be reciting our Scottish poems in class tomorrow (Monday 24th January). We will also be sampling some irn bru and shortbread this week as a wee treat! Yum!
This week we will continue our Scottish dancing and gymnastics in P.E. P.E days are Tuesday and Friday.
