Spelling homework should be completed in the green homework jotter and handed in on Friday.
Reading
Try to read a little every night and bring books to school every day. Reading books will be returned on Friday 21st. If children would like to change their reading book before then, they may do so.
Maths
We are continuing to work on telling the time in class. Please use the following games to practise this at home:
Scots Poem
As part of our mini Scotland topic, we would like all children to learn a Scots poem and recite this in class. The children were all given a sheet with four Scots poems on Friday. They may learn one of these or a different poem of their choice. Some more examples can be found here. Children will recite their poems on Monday 24th January.
PE
PE is now on Wednesday and Friday. Please remember to bring PE kit on these days as we will be doing PE in the gym hall.
