Reading – Reading books are due in on Friday of this week.
Scots Poem – Today the children will be given a sheet with 4 Scots poems. As part of our Scottish celebration month in Bishopton Primary we would like the children to learn a Scots poem and recite this to the class. This can be any Scots poem and they can choose one of their own if they would like. More examples can be found on this website – Scots poems. We would like the children to be ready to recite this poem on Monday 24th January.
News
This week we continue our topic work looking at Scotland. We will be looking at landmarks found along the River Clyde and learning about the lifecycle of the brown trout native to Scotland. We will also be continuing our Scottish country dancing. We are learning the Pride of Erin dance.
Have a great week and thank you for all of your continued support.
