Homework – Week beginning 2nd of October

Good evening P5D. I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend and are looking forward to school tomorrow. Please see below for our homework for the week.

Topic:  Your completed personal project should be brought to school tomorrow (Monday), as we will be starting our presentations in the afternoon. I’m looking forward to seeing all your hard work from the last four weeks.

Spelling:  List 24 or 35 should be completed for Friday. Please read the comments I have written from last week’s homework before you make a start. Make sure and write your spelling rule words and your common words twice in your jotter. Find 2 other words that use the same spelling rule and then write 5 sentences that wow me with your VCOP.

Reading: Homework was issued on Wednesday. Please click here for further details of your homework task. The reading homework is due in for this Friday (6th of October).

Maths:  Once again this week, I’d like you to spend 10 minutes per night on practicing your times-tables. As a class, we are still not all confident in our 6, 7, 8 and 9 times tables. You can either do some of the practice challenges below, ask someone at home to quiz you or even just chant your times tables (from 0 – 10 and then from 10 – 0).

See you tomorrow.
