P3A and P3M homework w/b 14.9.20

Hi everyone,

Here is your homework for the week ahead.

Spelling –

Our rule this week is silent k.

Remember each week you have words which follow the spelling rule and some common words.

Look inside your spelling jotter to see the activities to do with your words.

Here are our words –

knee, knit, know, knock, knife, knight, big, even, such, because.

Please post a copy of your work on teams or send a copy by email.

Reading –

Reading books have been issued in class today.  Please read and discuss them at home each night using the 3 sharings.  Books will be collected in on a Thursday each week.

Maths –

Hit the Button – Number bonds

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button

With  Number Bonds, it is really important to be able to recall the facts immediately ( As fast as you can say your name)

Think about your level of challenge

If you don’t feel confident with these skills, focus on number bonds making  10. Once you’ve got that, move on to Bonds making  20.

For extra challenge try Bonds making 100.

Please ask if you are unsure of anything.
