P3F and P3A/M : Hour of Code

This week, P3F and P3A/M have been learning how to code with Scratch. Some of you asked how to use Scratch on your home computers. If you click on the picture below, it will take you to the Scratch website and you can use it online without downloading.

Here is another link you might enjoy. The Hour of Code website has lots of tutorials to build games and animations using coding. When you are on the website, select games for Grades 2-5 and with the Language -> Blocks. These tutorials will be most like the coding we have been doing in class.

P3M and P3A Flat Stanley news!

Hello everyone!

We were very excited this week when more Stanleys returned from their travels!

Two of the boys in class sent their Flat Stanleys  off to Rangers Football Club a few months ago and this week they returned. What an adventure Stanley has been on! The boys were gifted some lovely merchandise and signed photographs too.  What a kind gesture from Rangers.  They were absolutely delighted!

Everyone in school loved looking at the pictures and reading the letter that accompanied Stanley.
