Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n Spelling – This weeks magic e sound is i_e<\/strong> as in kite, bite , fine.<\/p>\n Reading books\u00a0 -Big cats continue this week.<\/p>\n Wordwalls – All wordwalls were heard on Thursday and new ones\/ new highlighted words will be out this week.\u00a0 I will check these again next Thursday.<\/p>\n Maths – This weeks Maths will be counting in 3s.<\/p>\n News<\/strong><\/p>\n On Monday I will hear all of the Scottish poems and those wishing to participate in the school competition will be allowed to recite their poems to other classes.\u00a0 A class winner will be chosen and they will represent our class at the Burns assembly in school.\u00a0 I can’t wait to hear their poems.\u00a0 We are also enjoying learning about Scottish traditions and learning some Scottish songs.\u00a0 Here is the song we learned last week, the children loved it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8BngJKGZe1k<\/a><\/p>\n Active school clubs begin this week.<\/p>\n We also had a navy school skirt go missing at P.e time on Friday.\u00a0 If anyone took it home by accident we would very much appreciate it if it could be sent back into school.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n Have a great week.<\/p>\n Mrs Fulton\/ Mrs MacKenzie<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Good evening, I hope you all enjoyed the snow today!!
