Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n As our working week is a little shorter there will be no\u00a0new spelling\u00a0words issued.\u00a0Please feel free to play games to revise words and sounds \u2013 there is a link below to help you.<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.ictgames.com\/literacy.html<\/a><\/p>\n Reading books will not be issued also, due to the shorter week. I have encouraged the class to read lots of stories at home and to discuss the beginning, middle and ends.<\/p>\n However, I have sent home a maths worksheet for homework, to allow the children to practice greater than, less than and equal to symbols.<\/p>\n News<\/strong><\/p>\n There is no school\u00a0on Thursday 30th November\u00a0as it is\u00a0St Andrews day.<\/p>\n Christmas house art\u00a0day is on\u00a0Friday 1st December.\u00a0This year our theme is Christmas carols.\u00a0 Pupils should wear their house colours \u2013<\/p>\n Hawks (green)<\/p>\n Falcons (blue)<\/p>\n Eagles (yellow or gold)<\/p>\n Ospreys (red)<\/p>\n The children will be using lots of art materials including glue, paint and drawing materials.\u00a0 It\u2019s going to be a lot of fun but please don\u2019t wear your best clothes as it can get a little messy!<\/p>\n The\u00a0school fair will take place this Saturday (2nd December) in the school between 1pm and 3pm.<\/p>\n Primary 2B will be joining the other Primary 2 classes for a local community walk on Friday 8th December.
