{"id":3696,"date":"2022-01-24T09:01:40","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T09:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/primary2bps\/?p=3696"},"modified":"2022-01-24T21:10:47","modified_gmt":"2022-01-24T21:10:47","slug":"homework-24-01-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/re\/primary2bps\/2022\/01\/24\/homework-24-01-22\/","title":{"rendered":"Homework 24\/01\/22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone,<\/p>\n<p>For homework this week we will be learning the spelling rule &#8220;ay&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Spelling rule homework words, to be copied out into your spelling jotter and then a further two times.<br \/>\n1. play<br \/>\n2. sway<br \/>\n3. spray<br \/>\n4. stay<\/p>\n<p>Common tricky words<br \/>\n1. write<br \/>\n2. go<br \/>\n3. see<br \/>\n4. number<\/p>\n<p>As always can you put at least one of your spelling rule words into a sentence. The children have been working hard on their sentence structure in class:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capital letter at beginning of each sentence.<\/li>\n<li>Finger spaces between each word.<\/li>\n<li>Writing on the line, check formation of letters.<\/li>\n<li>Interesting openers.<\/li>\n<li>Punctuation, full stop at the end of a sentence.<\/li>\n<li>Using nouns and adjectives to expand our sentence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We would love to see the children challenge themselves by growing the words.
