The children have already been spotting \u2018ou\u2019 (as in out) words in their reading books.<\/p>\n<p>Maths<\/p>\n<p>The children have been\u00a0issued with\u00a0a counting in tens\u00a0worksheet to complete. I have directed them to their hundred squares in their diaries to help them with this.<\/p>\n<p>Spelling<\/p>\n<p>Our sound this week is \u2018ou \u2019. The spelling words we chose were:<\/p>\n<p>Red Group: house, about, couch and mouse.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Group: pound, mouthful, voucher and proud.<\/p>\n<p>Our common words this week are:<\/p>\n<p>long, made, may, part.<\/p>\n<p>Tommy the Tree Frog\u00a0has been given out to a child today and is due back on Wednesday if possible.
