Here is our homework for the week ahead:<\/p>\n
Reading<\/p>\n
The children have been issued with their new reading book. The children have already been spotting \u2018ew\u2019 (as in stew) words in their reading books.<\/p>\n
Maths<\/p>\n
The children have issued with\u00a0an addition to 20\u00a0worksheet to complete. This helps with their number bonds to 20 and hopefully they can make a connection to their number bonds to 10.<\/p>\n
Spelling<\/p>\n
Our sound this week is \u2018ew \u2019. The spelling words we chose were:<\/p>\n
Red Group: news, chew, stew, crew.<\/p>\n
Blue Group: newspaper, view, chewing, jewels.<\/p>\n
Our common words this week are:<\/p>\n
day, did, get and come.<\/p>\n
Tommy the Tree Frog\u00a0has been given out to a child today and is due back on Wednesday if possible. When he is given out on Wednesday he is due back on a Friday.<\/p>\n
