Here is our homework for the week ahead:<\/p>\n
Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n The children have been given out brand new reading books this week. They are due back on Friday<\/strong>. We have been enjoying the use of\u00a0hop,\u00a0skip and jump\u00a0to help us with our reading. Ask your child to show you this.<\/p>\n Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n Maths homework this week focusses on written sums. This is due on Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Spelling<\/strong><\/p>\n Our sound\u00a0this week is \u2018ck\u2019.\u00a0The spelling words we chose were:<\/p>\n Red Group: trick, quack, duck and truck<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Blue Group: stack, brick, bucket and packet.<\/strong><\/p>\n Our common words this week are:<\/p>\n there, use, and and each.<\/strong><\/p>\n As always, please ask if you have any queries either through the homework diary or at the end of the day.<\/p>\n The children have a letter in their bookbags today about an upcoming trip.\u00a0 A small slip at the bottom has to be returned by the 22nd November.<\/p>\n Thanks<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Miss Grant<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Good afternoon!
