Here is our homework for the week ahead:<\/p>\n<p>Maths Homework is due on Thursday. Spelling and Reading Homework is due on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each child has been given a new school reading book to read aloud and discuss this week. These will be collected in on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The maths homework this week is revision of number bonds to 10. I went over this in class with the children today so hopefully\u00a0they\u00a0can complete this.\u00a0The sheet should be completed and handed back by Thursday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We discussed\u00a0short vowel sounds today (when the\u00a0vowel makes its own sound)\u00a0and came up with some fantastic words! The spelling words we chose were:<\/p>\n<p><strong>had, exit, snip, odd, under<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our common words this week are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>from, or and one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As always, please ask if you have any queries either through the homework diary or at the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Ospreys have\u00a0a non-uniform day this Friday due to winning the house points this month.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Grant<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good afternoon!
