Good afternoon! Here is our homework for the week ahead:<\/p>\n

Maths Homework is due on Thursday. Spelling and Reading Homework is due on Friday.<\/p>\n

Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each child has been given a new school reading book to read aloud and discuss this week. These will be collected in on Friday.<\/p>\n

Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n

The maths homework this week is revision of missing numbers and before and after. I have advised the children that they are welcome to borrow a\u00a0hundred square\u00a0from the class should they wish to help them.\u00a0The sheet should be completed and handed back by Thursday.<\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong><\/p>\n

We discussed the sound \u2018ar\u2019 today and came up with some fantastic words! The spelling words we chose were:<\/p>\n

star, car, arm and art.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our four common words this week are:<\/p>\n

at, be, this and have.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As always, please ask if you have any queries either through the homework diary or at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

Please remind children to hand in any letters they may have in the mornings along with their diary.<\/p>\n

Some letters have been placed in your child’s book bag today.<\/p>\n
