Good afternoon! Here is our homework for the week ahead:<\/p>\n
All homework is due on Friday due to the four day week.<\/p>\n
Reading<\/strong><\/p>\n Each child has been given a new school reading book to read aloud and discuss this week. These will be collected in on Friday.<\/p>\n Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n In class we have been looking at making 5 and 10 in different ways. The homework sheet is based around this. I have advised the children that they are welcome to borrow a number line from the class should they wish to help them.\u00a0The sheet should be completed and handed back by Friday.<\/p>\n Spelling<\/strong><\/p>\n We discussed the sound \u2018qu\u2019 today and came up with some fantastic words! The spelling words we chose were:<\/p>\n quack, queen, quit and quiz.<\/strong><\/p>\n Our four common words this week are:<\/p>\n with, his, they and I.<\/strong><\/p>\n As always, please ask if you have any queries either through the homework diary or at the end of the day.<\/p>\n Please remind children to hand in any letters they may have in the mornings along with their diary.<\/p>\n The solo talks to far have been amazing! The effort put in has been fantastic. I have been so impressed and the children have been very confident.
