P2K homework w.b. 03/12/18

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a lovely St Andrews Day and had a lovely relaxing day off.

Reminder that our castles should be completed and brought into school tomorrow (Tuesday 4th December). Be prepared to talk about how you made it, some of the different parts of a castle and also show us your moving part.

P2K Homework w.b. 19/11/18

Happy Monday!

Please see our homework for the week beginning 19/11/18.

Please note that Maths homework this week is a focus on our Sumdog competition and counting forwards and backwards to 100.

A gentle reminder that trip money (£2) is to be in no later than Thursday of this week. Thank you for all of the help offered for our trip to Stirling Castle, we were overwhelmed with your generosity.

Please may we also ask to ensure that book bags, word walls and reading books are brought in to school everyday. Thank you.

Thursday afternoon also sees a presentation from Mrs Davidson and Mr Collins about the launch of Primary 2 book bags from Book Week Scotland. After the presentation there is an opportunity to come into the classroom to explore the books and activities within the bags with your child. Please do not worry if you are unable to make this event, I will be there to support and read with all children and the book bags will be sent home for you to enjoy together.

Hello everyone,

Please see our homework for the week beginning 08/10/18 below. Please note a couple of changes due to the holiday next week.

This week’s spelling pattern is ‘short vowels’. These are vowels that make the letter sound as apposed to the letter name. For example cat (short vowel) pair (long vowel).
