This week in science P2 were biologists and learned about the difference between living and non-living things. The children had some great ideas about what makes something living: “things that are alive have a heart”; “it can move by itself” and “it has to breathe if it’s living”. In line with our topic we looked at different items you might find at a beach like shells, seaweed, fish and driftwood and then sorted them into living and non-living rock pools.<\/p>\n
