The Pupil Council helps to involve pupils in decision making within the school.
Each class from the Nursery to P7 elects a pupil representative for a year. The Pupil Council meets each month with a member of staff to guide them. Mr McElhone is the staff member working with the Pupil Council this session.
The Council also has a Chairperson and a Reporter chosen from pupil members.
The Pupil Council has welcomed a number of speakers regarding improvements to the school grounds, what our status as an Eco School means and the promotion of healthy eating in the school.
Pupils are also represented in the School’s Health Eating Group, Travel Plan Committee, Rights Respecting Schools Committee and a number of other citizenship groups allowing the voice of our pupils to be heard .
