We are now on our way home and the children cannot wait to see you all! We’ve had a fantastic week and all of the teachers are immensely proud of our Barsail pupils. The children dug deep in every activity and put their all into having an amazing experience. We were so lucky with our weather and it really added to the trip . They were exposed to some new and exciting sports and the children found new strengths and talents due to this. I’m sure you’ll all be searching for local water sports clubs for them to continue the fun!

I enjoyed canoeing today because me, Martina and Hope drifted away into the middle of the Loch and had to get rescued. It was scary but also very funny!

Ryan

Today I enjoyed canoeing because Gregor, Evan and Sam got pushed away and we had to go and help them.

Jordan

Today I enjoyed canoeing because me, Ryan and Alasdair were passing Gregor, Evan and Sam and they grabbed our boat and spun us around. We ended up drifting away and it was funny!

Evan

I liked canoeing today because Gregor and Sam were hilarious during it. Me and Sam kept calling the oar an udder instead of a rudder.

I enjoyed Archery today because I turned into Robin Hood. I hit 3 bullseyes!

Hope M

Canoeing was great today. Me, Martina and Nicole were beached in the little pond area and couldn’t move for 10 minutes, it was very funny.

Martina

I enjoyed when the camera man was trying to film us during canoeing but we kept turning round the wrong way, it was really funny.

Gregor

I enjoyed canoeing today, it was funny. I got out of the canoe and shoved Evan and Sam out but the canoe drifted away. I was stranded on the shore! The beach party was also great!

Alasdair

Today I enjoyed canoeing. We played camouflage and a spider crawled up my arm!

Ellie

Today I enjoyed canoeing. I was with Mrs Kellett and we were the best, we were always in front of everyone else.

We’re just back from the bbq and beach party and the children are warming up with some hot chocolate. They were in and out of the water most of the night and had an absolute ball! All of the children are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

The Whales and Dolphins went canoeing this afternoon. It was quite windy, so they all put in extra effort to get around the Loch. We can’t believe we only have one activity left!

The Sharks and Stingrays were Sailing this afternoon. It is quite a windy day so they were speeding across the Loch!

The Dolphins were doing Archery this afternoon. We had a lot of golds and super aiming all round!
